In short
- No email address, no real name and no birthday. The age check happens on the page and is never sent.
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking cookies, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.
- Chat is public in the room you are in. Typed chat is off unless a moderator turns it on, and Safe Chat's ready-made phrases always work; when typed chat is on, don't type anything you wouldn't say out loud.

On your device
- Remembered penguin: after you create a penguin, this browser can remember its name and colour so the home page can say hi. It never leaves your device, and "Forget this penguin" on the home page removes it.
- Game saves: the game stores small settings in your browser, like the original did.
- Offline files: on phones and tablets the site may keep a copy of game files so it loads faster.
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.
Who else is involved
- Cloudflare delivers the site and protects it from attacks. When you create a penguin, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you're a real person. Cloudflare sees your IP address and some browser details to do this. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Our server host runs the computer the island lives on.
Nobody else gets your data, and it is never sold.
Deleting your penguin
Write to contact@clubpenguins.lol with your penguin's name. Because we don't store email addresses, we may ask for a small in-game sign that the penguin is yours. Deleting a penguin removes it and everything it owned.
